Hopping for Haiti
Good afternoon, SGS parents and guardians,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! A big thank you to all who joined us this morning for Hopping For Haiti! Many of you braved the rain and early hour to be creative in our fundraising efforts. And we raised over $600 that will be given to the Red Cross to assist in their care of the earthquake victims in Haiti.
And make sure you watch the 5pm Newscast on WOAI -Ch 4 for the story and video of all the fun! I have verified that the story about our event will run during that newscast. KENS 5 and KSAT 12 were also there but I am not sure if we will be included in their newscasts.
Also check out Vicki Buffolino's (KENS 5) featured blog today on www.kens5.com - she tells a wonderful story of our event and our students!
It was an awesome way to start the morning - God bless the rest of your day!
In Christ,
Kay Hanson
